Prince *Album Update*

Ok Prince is coming out with a new album called LOtUSFLOW3R it is Princes 25th studio album by him, scheduled for release in early 2009. This album is one of a three album set, along with MPLSoUND and Elixer, an album by Bria Valente, his protegée. The three albums will be sold exclusively in the US at Target stores as a 3-disc set, but in Europe from more online music stores. The first single is off the album is "Chocolate Box" featuring Q-Tip the video premiered on his Imeem page. No word on if its official or for promotional preposes. there are three cover arts and

the third album would be by a new artist named "Bria Valente". the video premiere will be post later. Enjoy!

The Pussycat Dolls recreated the last scene from Slumdog Millionaire in the video for “Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)” featuring A.R. Rahman. The clip was shot at a train station in Vienna, Austria, and was directed by Thomas Kloss.The music video has been made available on various video sharing websites and premiered on Fuse TV's "No. 1 Countdown" on March 16, 2009. The video was added March 22, 2009 to the iTunes Store for download. Since its release, the music video peaked at #12 on the top chart and #3 on the pop chart. The video is receiving lots of airtime on UK music channels which has acted as promotion for the single (it has yet to be performed in the UK) pushing it to #20 on UK Top 40.

The Pussycat Dolls will be re-releasing their second studio album "Doll Domination" on 14 April 2009. The re-reales will be titled "Doll Domination 2.0" the album will contain ten tracks, including "Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny)" and "Top of the World", as well as a remix for the song "Hush Hush" and a new song called "Painted Windows". The other songs on the re-release are “When I Grow Up”, “I Hate This Part”, “Bottle Pop”, “Halo”, “Takin’ Over the World” and “I'm Done”. Natasha Bradley is an R&B/pop singer and fashion model who during her junior year in high school, while working at a Subway sandwich shop, was introduced to Rodney Jerkins. After seeing her sing and dance just once, Jerkins invited Natasha to his Darkchild studio to record what became her first two singles. A short time later she signed to Jive Records through Jerkins' Darkchild Entertainment."Hey Hey Hey", released in 2006, was Natasha's first single. It failed to chart and got little airplay. "So Sick", released in 2007 had the same minimal impact. A music video for a third song, "Sidekick", was released via YouTube on December 22, 2008, and was promoted to radio in March 2009. Her debut album is planned to be titled Uncontrollable. A release date has not yet been scheduled. Darkchild, Stargate, Bryan Michael Cox and others are producing.

Jupiter Rising - The Quite Hype [Retail]

The Quiet Hype is the electro-pop duo Jupiter Rising's third studio album and was released on March 17, 2009, and is what they call their beat heavy dance album by Seventeen magazine. The album features an eclectic mix of electro/dance pop, soulful ballads and even the occasional stab at social commentary. The influences vary from pop, rock and hip-hop to dance, electropop, and techno dressed in heavy drums, synths, and guitars. This album differs slightly from their earlier albums, Electropop and Jupiter Rising musically using more spacy synths and live instruments featured on songs like Falling Away, L.A. Girls, and Tres Cool. The inspiration behind album for Spencer "was everything that I wanted to get out and do . Even before it was my project there used to be like six people in this band, and prior to that we all had an idea of where we wanted to go and that somewhere got lost in between pre-production and actually making the record. What we ended up with wasn’t necessarily what I wanted to create but I happened to be the one to own up to it." The sound of this new album is rooted in programmed-electro, but using live instruments on it. "It's live and raw", the band says, "but also a little futuristic with synthesizers. We've been tracking live drums on almost every song and tracking guitars on almost every song, and playing piano and keyboards, but also doing programs with synthesizers and soft synths, and tricks with vocodors and vocals." “We’re making a fresh and electric album with lots of great tracks like “Fallin’ Away,” “Tres Cool” and a shout out to our home LA with ‘LA Girl,’ explains Payo. Guest musicians on new album include: Brent Paschke (guitar); Mike Shapiro (Drums) and Mike Garcon (Keyboards).

Since the age of 13, BoA has released a numerous amount of albums in Japan and South Korea. After selling many records over the years, BoA has decided to take on the US. In October of 2008, she debuted her first American Single, "Eat You Up." The song had mixed reviews from sounding "too Britney Spears-like" to others saying they love it (including me.) The song didn't chart well, but did peak high in the dance charts. Three videos were released for the single with Version A, in my opinion, was the best. Now BoA is getting ready to release the second single called, "I Did It For Love" which features Sean Garrett. The song is not top-notch, but the video seems as if it will be.
